The Vedas are still being written

The Vedas are still being written.
There’s a scroll made of awe
rolling across the floor
of your awakened heart.

Try this:
Raise your arms and eyes
to the sun as it reveals itself to you at dawn.
Read what that scribe of light
pens across the hymnal of your soul —
then read it back to yourself.

The Vedas are there, my friend
in the sweet scripture of your attention.
